On those Burke mills, check out the Y axis dovetail ways and gib really good. The leadscrew is offset to the right, and not centered like a Bridgeport. This means offset forces tend to wear the ways into a banana shape and the Y axis will crab when you reverse direction. Not the best design for slideways.-Doozer
